Water Baby

We took Peter swimming for the first time this past week. We thought that since he loves his bath so much, then swimming should just make his little heart brim over with happiness. However, Peter didn't really respond much...he didn't object to being walked around the pool and shown how to kick his legs, but he didn't become overjoyed either. Perhaps next summer he will fully appreciate swimming and how fun it really is. We had to buy "little swimmie" diapers that were too big for him....but they looked cute all the same!
