Biggest winter storm in 30 years!

We woke up this morning to SNOW! Not just a little, but A LOT. It is the biggest winter storm to hit North Texas in 30 years.... Peter woke up and ran to the window...
We tried to build a snowman...but we are from Texas and have no idea how to do that. The big snowman ended up as "Mt Osterberg"...as Brent is perched upon now. :)

...so we settled for making a baby snow man and putting him on the bench.

This is seconds before our little snowman met Peter's destructive arm. :)

Brent couldn't even get his car all the way up the driveway when he came home....and yes that is Peter laying on the ground. We aren't sure why he kept flinging himself down on the ground....we think it is because we saw "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" and the kids throw themselves in the snow and eat it. And that is just what Peter did. :)

Look how deep I sank into the snow...crazy.

That is our poor little bush that got covered up. ....

This is my snow angel....Look hard to see it. It is my first time to ever make one!

This is how deep it was on the curb. Brent said it was 6.5 inches in the back yard...I didn't venture back there. :)

Do you notice the absence of a drive way? It should be bewteen the two trees.

Catching snow flakes on his tongue! They kept getting stuck in his eyelashes. :)
