Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great day together on the 14th. Celebrating Valentine's Day is extra special because we know that we would not have the ability to love were it not for our awesome God that loves us first..."we love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19 Thank you, Lord for loving us and giving us the same ability to love You and those around us! We are so thankful for the bonds of love that our family shares.

Peter and I made Brent his favorite - brownies! I was surprised at how much Peter liked to bake. :)

Ta da! Peter was so proud of the finished product and kept calling them "pancakes".

I'm not very good at dessert decorating, but these came out pretty cute. The white is cream cheese icing - yummo!

Peter got to give Brent his brownies after he came home from work....(we made them the Thursday befoe Valentine's Day)

On the 14th, we went to Chili's to celebrate. We decided a long time ago that Valentine's Day is for the whole family. What fun! They gave Peter a red balloon. This made dinner very interesting. :)

After dinner, Brent took us to a cool frozen yogurt place called Menchie's....you get to pick your flavor and your own toppings! We had so much fun!
