Visit from Presley

Our very dear friend, Presley, came to visit us this past weekend. He has been in Vietnam the past three years as a missionary. It was so wonderful to hear a testimony of God's work on the other side of the world. It was a great reminder to me how much more is going on in the world than my little life and just how big our God really is! He is doing amazing things and building His church! Presley was one of Brent's roommates in college and they had a good time watching old videos and catching up with each other. We love you, Pres!
Baby Peter is doing very well. He has discovered the wonderful world of fruits. He loves them! I am sure that he is wondering why I was feeding him something as bland as rice cereal when there are things as yummy as pears and peaches out there. :) Peter has learned a few new tricks including taking off his booties and making himself stiff as a board when he doesn't want to go into his car seat. He doesn't quite sit up without help of the couch cushions or my arm, but he is very close! He turns himself over in the middle of the night and sleeps on his tummy. Brent and I are also doing very well, God is blessing the ministries that we are leading (student, men, women and Sunday school) with great mercy. We attended the NANC (national assoc. of nouthetic counselors) conference this past week and we were set on fire anew for the gospel and the love of Christ for his people! We serve such an amazing, holy and worthy God!
We love all of you out there - let us hear from you!

Peter is so cute. He looks like such a little man now. I can't wait to meet our little boy! It was good to see a picture of Presley. We will miss his visit this year. We are used to him coming every time he comes home, but we live too far now. I am glad that you guys are doing well, only about nine weeks until little one comes!

What neat ministries you are a part of! That is a blessing you can do that with your husband. :)
