Happy Resurrection Day

It is Resurrection Sunday! Why do the Osterbergs celebrate? Because when Jesus rose from the dead, He wasn't just overcoming His own death, He was overcoming death for all those who trust in Him as Savior. If Jesus is your Savior, the resurrection says we don't have to fear death because death just means we are ushered into the presence of the God who, out of love, did everything necessary to save us from sin.
Many tries to get a good picture of the boys....oh well, you get the idea.

"Mom, no more pictures...it's time for lunch!"

...okay just a few more.

Peter will be three in about two weeks and Justin will be 9 months on the same weekend. My big boys!

After the service, we met our friends, the Lambs at the Botanic Garden for a picnic lunch and a chance to enjoy Creation.
We ate yummy McDonald's and then the boys blew bubbles. Here is Peter with Jaxon. :)

My friend Laura with Justin, Cooper, and me. It was so much fun to just relax in the grass...overcast with a nice breeze!

A boy must have his stick.

We took a walk to explore and get out some wiggles. hehe.

Peter and Jaxon are such good buddies...and have been for years!

The whole garden was in complete bloom - what a wonderful and gorgeous place God gave us to enjoy.

Iceland Poppies....aren't they beautiful?!
