Havin' a ball!

I am so happy to report that Brent is back safe and sound from Mexico! He will have to post a blog to tell of all his adventures, but from what I have heard, the Lord was so gracious (of course!) and he and his team had a wonderful week of ministry and the people of the fishing village were blessed by their service. Peter is growing like a weed! He is talking more and more - he even grabs his blankie and pulls it to his face to play. :) We are so blessed to have this little guy and we are all so happy to be back under one roof! We will be traveling to Florida to visit Peter's Great Grandma next week, so we will show off some of our pictures when we get back. We love you all and pray that you are in the Word every day and that you are putting your faith fully in our merciful Savior.

All Smiles!

Life at the Osterberg house is going wonderfully! Brent is preparing to go to Mexico with a mission team this next week (leaving June 22nd). We would appreciate everyones prayers! First for the safety of Brent and his team, but also for the hearts that will be ministered to in Mexico, for the members of the team that will be sharing their testimonies, for Brent as this is one of his first big trips where all the responsibilty falls on him, and for me and Peter who will be staying behind in Fort Worth. We are so excited about this opportunity for Brent and his team and we look forward to seeing God work through his intruments!

We have had so much family up to visit in the past month and the time has been so sweet. We love to get together and watch everyone "ooh" and "ahh" over Baby Peter. Below are pictures of the Butcher family and the Osterberg family. We are so blessed to have so many people who love us and encourage us!

As you can see from the above picture, Peter had his first real smile this week! What a cutie pie! He is becoming more and more responsive to us and the things that happen around the house. We go in on June 18th for his two month check up and his shots. Again, your prayers for our family and for a good doctor's report are greatly appreciated!

We also visited the traveling Star Wars exhibit last Monday. It was a fun family outing that we we able to share together. Peter liked Yoda the best! :)

Tipping for the Glory of God

I am always on the lookout for new and creative ways to get the gospel to those who do not believe. One thing Keri and I like to do is leave a gospel tract with the tip we give to our waiter or waitress. The above tract is especially designed for such an occasion. Usually before he takes our order, we like to ask the waiter if he has anything we can pray for when we bless our food (we've gotten some wierd looks, but most are grateful). Then, when we get the bill, we don't skimp on the tip - the gospel needs to be affirmed with our actions, not negated. Of course, the ideal way to share the gospel is to have a one-on-one conversation, but you never know how our sovereign God can use a gospel tract.

If anyone has any other creative ideas for spreading the gospel, drop us a post or email us at reform1981@yahoo.com. We'd love to hear how you are obeying the Great Commission. Until next time, may Christ rule your affections.
