Our first camping trip!

Our first camping trip was over this last weekend. We went out to Cedar Hill State Park with our church group. We had such a blast!! I grew up camping every summer and this brought back so many fond memories. :) Brent is not a very experienced camper, but he learned some good tricks and had a great time as well. Peter, well, I think it goes without saying that he was in 'hog heaven'!

There was a little lake that we got to hike to and look at the ducks. I can't believe Peter kept his at on!

The last day they had games and races for the kids...Peter did great at the bean bag toss! He throws with his left and has great aim!

We had such a great time and I can't wait to make this a tradition for our boys!

For Peter's second birthday I made him a cake with cars....I am no cake decorator, but Peter seemed to like it. :)

Peter only wanted to play with the cars at first, but as soon as he realized that he could eat the cake, he got it everywhere.

To continue celebrating, we took Peter to the Rainforest Cafe. He wasn't sure about it at first, but he warmed up to it.

Hi everyone...I am so sorry that there have not been any new posts in such a long time. Our computer crashed and therefore I have no way of posting a blog. I am at Brent's office right now and I will come up one evening with my camera very soon so I can post some pics. We are doing very well. The baby is kicking me now more than ever and Peter just turned 2! He had a great birthday and I will post pics of that soon as well. We are going to take Peter on his first camping trip this weekend and that should yield some very cute pictures! :) Please pray that our computer gets better soon and hopefully there will be a new blog posting within the week.
