Pumpkin patch 2009

We recently went to the pumpkin patch with my ladies Bible study group. It was kind of a rainy day, but we still have fun just being together and seeing the pumpkins and the mud. :)

Star Wars in concert!!

This weekend we had the excitement of seeing Star Wars in concert. We bought shirts for the occasion...Peter didn't go to the concert, but he got a shirt anyway. :)

While they showed clips from the movies, the live orchestra and choir performed the music. It was so cool watching some of the soloists as they played the awesome music!

In the lobby they had replicas of the characters set up for people like us to take pics...

Good, cheap fun!

The other night it was raining and we had to stay inside all day long....so when Brent got home from work we were ready for an outing! So we took the boys to the pet store to walk around and look at the animals. Like the zoo only smaller. :) Peter was fascinated with all the little cages. We saw birds, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, and frogs.

My boys! Oh how I love them!

Justin is 14 weeks and 15.5 pounds! What a big boy! :)

Justin is smiling more than ever these days! He also will talk to you and coo if you really get him excited. :)

This past weekend my parents came up to see us. We planned to go to the zoo, but first we had to eat a traditional morning breakfast at Mc Donalds. As long as I can remember, my family has eaten Mc Donald's breakfast before a big day...such as the zoo, or going on vacation. Fun times! :)

The day was so pretty for a zoo visit....nice and sunny in the morning with a crisp breeze.

The big gorilla came out of his cave to get in the photo...they are such pretty animals; our God is so creative!

The zoo is great, but being with those we love was the best part.

...even Justin was praising the Lord for His creation. :)

Peter and I both have elephant shirts that we wear to the zoo...helps to set the mood.

Feed the birds! In this little caged area the birds fly right up to your feed stick and let you hold them. Peter loves it!

Peter zonked out about 2:30, but Justin stayed wide-eyed. :)

It rained a little in the afternoon, so Mom and Dad bought us all icecream to eat while we waited for it to pass...perfect combo!

Yay! The boys (minus Justin) got to ride the train. Choo choo!

We had a great time Gama and Papa Jon! We can't wait til next time!!
