Peter turned 10 months old this week! Wow, where does the time go? This is one of his 10 month pictures taken at McDonald's. He is getting so good at sitting in the high chair and eating little finger foods. He doesn't have many teeth yet, only 2, so we still need to be careful about what we give him. Over the weekend, Brent's parents, Courtney and Marty came to visit. We went over to Brent's aunt and uncle's house in Grapevine on Saturday afternoon to enjoy some family time. We had a great meal of steaks and some fun playing basketball and video games. :) Courtney (B's sister), Marty (Courtney's boyfriend), Tobin (B's aunt), Randy (B's uncle), Faith and Jaxon (B's cousins). We love you guys!

While we were waiting for dinner, they played basketball. The weather was so beautiful! Even Peter had a slam dunk! :)
This picture is especially sweet because Peter is wearing one of Brent's old t-shirts from Doug and Nancy's university, Wichita State.

Happy Birthday, Peyton!

On February 14, little Peyton Shaw was brought into this world! I got to go and visit my friend Emily and dear little Peyton last Friday. Emily looked beautiful and the baby was healthy and awake. We praise the Lord, not only for the Shaw family who mean so much to us, but now for this little miracle! Is not our Creator something marvelous to worship?! To think that this little baby was formed and known by God! We love you guys so much and we thank the Lord for His wonderful mercy and love in bringing you this little addition to your family!

I just thought this picture was funny. I came around the corner and this is what I find in the living room....and he wasn't even left alone for that long! Caught ya! :)

Happy LOVE day!

Happy "Day of Love"! This Valentine's Day was very sweet - we got to share it with our baby boy! Brent and I did get a sitter and have dinner together, but we can home before Peter went to bed so we could spend time with him too. We are so thankful for our family and the way we came love one another. We know that the only way we are even capable of loving is because God first loved us. Thank you, Father for giving us the ability to love and special people and such an Almighty Savior to show it to.
Brent gave me a beautiful rose that Peter was very interested in figuring out.
Yea, the Osterberg's first family Valentine's Day!
Brent also gave me some candied hearts - I LOVE those!

Leapin' Lizards!

Peter's great-aunt, Diane, gave him this adorable outfit....and it has been so hot (80 degrees in Feb.!) that shorts were definitely needed today. I thought he looked so cute in his little matching hat and bare feet.
Peter wasn't sure if he wanted to keep his hat on or not.....and he didn't want to listen when I explained the reasons of fashion. :)

Here is proof that Pete can crawl! He is getting so good at getting up on his knees and hands. He harldy ever army crawls anymore - yeah! .....And now he can go even faster!

How much is that baby in the window? :)

Happy Birthday, Keagan and Logan!

On Saturday, Peter was invited to his first birthday party! Michael and Lisa Oliver had their boy's joint party at Build-a-bear and all the kids actually got to build a bear to keep! What fun! Brent and I had never been there before (why would we?) and we had the best time showing Peter all the cool toys, fellowshipping with our friends and celebrating the birth of Keagan and Logan. Thanks again for inviting us, we had so much fun! :) My friend Emily and her son, Lawson, were there too - aren't the boys so cute?!
We helped Peter to build a dog - he would scream with delight every time we showed him his new stuffed animal. :)
After the fun at the store we went up to the food court and had cookie cake and presents. I thought Peter looked so cute sitting with the big kids in his high chair.
All the kids are almost looking at the camera! :)
Here is Peter with his new buddy, "Roger", that he got to make.
