This past weekend Brent's cousin, Lindsay, was married! It was a destination wedding on a beautiful ranch in Salado, TX. We got to go a day early to enjoy the family and the relaxing scenary.
Here is Brent and his cousin Tyler (Lindsay's brother) and his daughter Calynn. Don't they look adorable together...the kids, I mean. :) This is the front porch of our room that we stayed in at a bed and breakfast in town. It was so relaxing to sit and rock the baby. (Who, by the way, must be training for soccer with the way he is kicking me!!)

Peter and Nana by the creek behing the B&B. Pa and Brent taught Peter how to throw rocks in the water.

I thought the flowers were so pretty...you can see the B&B in the background. ...so sweet!
The day was so pretty that we stayed outside. I watched while the boys (including Peter) played catch.

Lindsay and her bridesmaids...the wedding was outside at sunset, such a romantic scene.

There were catcus EVERYWHERE! This was one of the smaller patches...a good backdrop for father and son.

Minutes before walking down the isle. Lindsay was so calm! :)

Brent and I had the privilege of providing some of the music for the wedding. I played a few songs on the flute and Brent and I sang a duet. It was so nice to be a part of something so special!

The rock alcove behind the wedding made it very intimate and cozy...as the sun set the two exchanged their vows and became man and wife. What a tender moment to be able to look back on for the years to come.

...at the reception! The hall was decorated with soft white lights and the food was splendid!

Congrats Lindsay and Alan - we love you both so much and we will be praying for you in the months and years to come.

This past weekend, Brent was re-baptized. He was baptized when he was 11, but looking back he did not feel that he was truly saved. Since then, he has re-evaluated his testimony and found that he believes the Lord to have called him in early college. That being the case, he wanted to be baptized again, this time as a true believer and child of God. What a happy and joyous day for us and we were reminded of what a gift salvation is from the Lord. Pastor Dan preached an excellent sermon on babtism (you can go to our church website at http://www.cbcfortworth.org/ to hear it) and then Brent and five others were baptized. Praise the Lord! :)

After the babtism, my parents (who had come up to support Brent in his baptism) stayed a few extra days and we went to the Botanic Gardens and spent a beautiful afternoon enjoying God's creation.

There is a pretty fish tank that Peter always loves to look at and try to 'find Nemo'. :)

We have had so much rain that all of the flowers were in full bloom and smelling wonderful! This was a rare time that I was thankful for the 'pregnancy nose'!

Walking the board walk - one of my favorite places!

Peter and Grandma on the board walk...

The O's (including Baby 0!) in front of the garden's oldest pecan tree - they say about 200 years old!

We had our family day yesterday; Brent has Mondays off. We had a great time going to Target, Babies R Us and Mardel. At Mardel they have a train table set up for the kids to lay with. Peter LOVED it! I couldn't believe what a big boy he was - he pushed the trains on the track and lined them all up....looks like he got some of Papa Jon's genes! :) After shopping we went to the doctor...it is still a boy. :) I just wanted to make sure before we started painting! The baby looks great - praise the Lord! All is well and we are right on schedule. I can feel him moving a little more each day - such a happy thing to notice! We are so excited about are new little addition...he already looks like an Osterberg to me! :)

This isn't the best angle for me, but oh well. It is cute how you can see the baby on the screen! :)

Baby Belly

Hello all! So sorry that it has been a while...I thought you would like to see my progress as the belly swells! I am now 19 and 1/2 weeks along! Wow! That is officially half way due to the fact that we will be doing a c-section at 39 weeks...I felt the little guy move this past week - what an exciting feeling! My morning sickness has FINALLY calmed down and I am feeling pretty good. Thank you to all of those that have been praying for me! We are going for another sono next week and I will be sure to post the latest pics of Baby O #2! Peter was just being cute as he ate his snack...he is getting so big and talking so much!
I love to hear his laugh...it is so contagious! :)
